Youth Aquatics
Learn to Swim!
Instruction is lead by a certified Water Safety Instructor. Classes are taught according to the American Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. Participants may enroll in Level I—Level VI classes, depending on level of water experience and skill. Parents are asked to choose the approximate level of their child ’s swimming prior to class. Infant and Parent classes are also available.
- Assessment will be made on the first day of class in order to determine which level of lesson is appropriate for participants.
- Appropriate for children 3 years old and above.
- Please complete the Youth Aquatics Registration Form
or Teen Aquatics Registration Form
and register at the Student Recreation Service Counter.
Camp Swimming Lessons
Registration will soon be available for summer swimming lessons! Add a little extra to your camper's experience by giving them instructional swim time after camp! Please register for swim lessons on the youth aquatics registration form (see above) and indicate that your child is also registered for camp. Instructors will pick up and escort children to lessons, after which they may be picked up at 5pm from the pool. For more information, please contact Melissa Fadler at mfadler@wsu.edu.
