Description

  • Lifeguard Training: This course teaches all of the necessary skills and provides certifications for successful completion of the course to be employed as a lifeguard. First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED and Oxygen Administration training are included with this training. Must be at least 15 years old to register.
  • Lifeguard Update and Challenge: Renew your American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/Professional Rescuer certifications. Candidates must successfully demonstrate on their own with no teaching all necessary skills and pass a written test. Must be at least 15 years old to register.
  • Lifeguard Instructor Training: This course trains existing Lifeguards to conduct Lifeguard Training Classes.  Participants must pass all Lifeguard Challenge skills and exhibit maturity, professionalism and public speaking skills to pass.  Must be at least 17 years old to register.
  • Water Safety Instructor Training: This course trains the experienced swimmer to teach the American Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum.  Instructor Candidates must pass a basic swimming skills pre-test and exhibit maturity and professionalism to pass.  Must be at least 16 years old to register.
