Youth Safety Education
Become prepared! University Recreation offers a variety of American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED certification classes for Adults and Youth ages 15 and older. If you want to become a lifeguard or need safety skills for babysitting, we have the class that you need.
The Student Recreation Center is now offering First Aid, CPR, and AED Refresher Courses. These refresher courses available are:
- Standard First Aid
- Infant CPR
- Child CPR
- Adult CPR
- Child AED
- Adult AED
Participants may choose to take the refresher in its entirety or may take only the portions they need. Participants MUST BRING CURRENT CERTIFICATION to the refresher course. According to the American Red Cross, the purpose of a refresher is to review the content and take the written/skills tests in a formal class setting.
